Week 5 - Review: AG1 Daily Supplement
Week 5 of AG1
As I write this, I’m actually closer to 6 weeks of taking AG1.
If you’ve been following my updates on this, you’ll know that AG1 was thrown in at the deep end with me being somewhat unwell beforehand during the first month that I started taking it.
The festivities are behind us now and with that, I’m glad to be back into the “normal” routine and I’ve gradually been feeling better too, with the exception of a lingering dry cough. I also think enough time has passed for me not to be stuck in the cross hairs of wondering if it’s placebo effect or if I’m actually feeling better than I did before taking AG1.
I would say that I think I’m falling into the latter of those two options. Despite feeling pretty poorly for over a month, it didn’t stop me being out and about and I wasn’t bed-ridden at any point. I’m feeling better anyway, with getting over the lurgy but I do feel there might be a little extra in there. Taking AG1 in the morning, on an empty stomach - is now very much the routine. I like it and even the night before - I look forward to it the next day.
The one thing that eats at me though is the cost…whilst I didn’t grudge the initial cost (£79) that incudes the welcome pack - I haven’t seen such an obvious “I feel amazing now” moment in me that I can comfortably contribute solely to AG1 - that it does feel like a lot. If I, or those around me were to notice substantial improvements - there is no way I could grudge £20 a week - to feel noticeably better.
It might seem like a lot to you too but if you were to break it down - are you the sort of person who would e.g. buy a coffee on your way to work every morning - spending £5 a day or so on that? If so - that’s £100 a month without any dare-I-say real health improvement? So if you did see a benefit from AG1 then £79/month is a steal - right? I would also outthink myself and be concerned that it might take me stopping taking AG1, to realise that I did feel much better when taking it - and I dont want to potentially feel any worse.
With taking AG1 and talking about it, my phone has clearly latched onto this and my social feeds are full of health and wellness products. An interesting one is IM8 - who are endorsed by co-founder David Beckham. It’s essentially a competitor to AG1 in the exact same price range but claims to have more medicinal research, backing etc and claims to offer more than AG1.
I’m not going to stop taking AG1 to transfer over and give it a go - however my wife is going to start taking it and as her husband - I will definitely be able to tell if there is a difference in her….so this blog might become a head to head review of the two products as we move forward into 2025.
