Loosely Christmas related (in the same way as Die Hard), Carry-on is not a comedy caper like the Carry On Movies of old.

We’ve got a really good Netflix Action Thriller here that would actually have been good enough to watch in the Cinema in our opinion but you’ll be glad to hear that you get to watch it as part of your Netflix subscription!

Taron Egerton is a TSA Agent who gets blackmailed into letting a package pass through the security check at the airport he works at, on Christmas Eve and the rest of the movie follows the unfurling events that bring inevitable action and drama. Jason Bateman is the bad guy in this one and it’s really enjoyable to see him in a different sort of role from the more comedy style genre that what we’re used to from him!

This is a good, fun movie to watch on your own, with your partner or your family.

A better-than-decent 7.5/10 for this one from us - a good one to end the festive period.
