We have been binging tv series pretty hard these last few months and were gutted that it seemed we had run through everything worth watching…alas we had nothing to fear!

Steven Knight (of Peaky Blinders & our recent favourite - SAS Rogue Heroes) bring us A Thousand Blows - not a particularly inspiring Title but if you love a good period drama like Peaky Blinders, Taboo or Ripper Street then you are going to absolutely love our TV Show of the month for March - A Thousand Blows!

Stephen Graham stars in this epic show that follows a number of storylines - that are largely based around 2 Jamaican best friends who arrive in Londons East End in search of a better life, following tragic events in their homeland. They soon find out that won’t be easy and are immediately aware of the criminal activity surrounding them in the East End of London.

In their own battle for survival on these mean streets, it’s not long before their paths cross those in these criminal circles. An underground bareknuckle boxing scene in London’s East End is the basis for which most of the story circles around and gets mixed in with the allure of and rivalry with a more professional boxing scene in the posher West End.

We could watch it all day if we could and wish there were more ready.

A hugely binge-worthy 8.6 /10 for this one.
