Jennifer Lawrence stars in this Teen Comedy about her haphazard character - a 30 something Maddie, who is on the brink of losing her home due to overburdening, unpaid tax bills. She happens across a unique job listing whereby a couple of parents are looking for someone to bring their severely introverted 19 year old son out of his shell, before he embarks on University life - out of fear that he won’t succeed as he is.

Have no doubt - they aren’t looking for a friend for their son, they want a hot lady to “friend” him - nudge nudge wink wink - if you know what I mean.

Maddie thinks this will be easy money but her full on approach is a bit much for the awkward son and the task proves to be much more difficult that she first thinks. It’s an easy watch and one you could probably scroll away on your phone at the same time - i.e. it doesn’t require much attention.

Silly, easy to watch, nothing special - a basic 6.2/10.
