1923 Returns for a second season one of Taylor Sheridans prequel to the amazing Yellowstone series. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren star again, as we follow the Dutton Family and their struggles to survive a brutal era of Western Expansion, Prohibition and the Great Depression.

Make sure you watch Season 1 first, to understand the progressing storylines and the parts the characters play in this. It’s cruel, gritty and tough but its well acted, with great casting and everything is believable.

It is only being released one episode a week at the time of typing this but if you loved Season 1, then Season 2 has started off with more of the same. With it’s darker storyline, you probably won’t want to binge it or pop it on for a jolly episode of something before heading to bed but its fantastic tv and a must watch.

A proper, gritty, modern take on the old West and a deserved 8.2/10 so far.
