If you have worked your way through 1883 and 1923 after the end of Yellowstone and are still craving your Wild West tv fix, then Netflix have got you covered with American Primeval.

American Primeval is a gritty, dark series that is based in mid-1800’s America. It intermingles and progresses a number of characters storylines really well during this violent time in American history, where Government, religion, cults and Native American’s clash - as they all try to stake their claim in this new world.

It’s a violent struggle for survival for everyone in this time but if it’s your genre, you should really like this one.

There are only 6 episodes in this series and if you like it, you’ll probably binge it over a week or weekend but don’t worry, there are some excellent tv shows recently released to keep you going.

An easy 7.9 /10, if you are into this genre.
